Medulloblastoma is a very common brain tumor in children. it arise in cerebellum. it is a part of brain located in base of skull

Age group – 5-9 are more higher at risk  to get affected with this tumor.In age above 30 is rare

CAUSE OF MEDULLOBLASTOMA IN CHILDREN

 Exact cause of medulloblastoma is not clear yet 

• Material diet, Disorder related to immunity during pregnency linked with development of medulloblastoma 
• Some studies show relation with viral infection i.e

                – Early john cunning ham viral infection

                – Human cytomegalovirus infection in childhood

• Genetic syndromes also associated with medullablastoma occurrence

                -Golin syndrome

               -Fan coni anemia

               -Turcot syndrome

               -Li- fraumeni syndrome

• Boys are at higher risk then girls

 SYMPTOMS OF MEDULLOBLASTOMA IN CHILDREN:

1. Headache early morning worse
2. Cognitive ability affected, Thinking ability affected
3.  Balance problem, clumsiness
4.  Coordination problem, difficulty in walking
5. Dizziness
6. Double vision, Weak eyes sight, pain in eyes
7. Nausea and vomiting
8. Weakness , fatigue
9. Weight loss, Back pain
10. Urinary or bowel incontinence

HOMOEOPATHIC TREATMENT FOR MEDULLOBLASTOMA IN CHILDREN

Calcaria Carb:

1.  Headache, sense of weight in top of head
2.  Vertigo on ascending and on turning head
3.  Dimness of vision, Eyes fatigue easily
4.  Pain in back as if sprained
5. Weakness and pain in lumbosacaral region 
6. Weakness of extremities, rheumatoid pain
