Two types of liver cancer are:–

PRIMARY: – it arises within the cells of liver. It is a common type of cancer.

SECONDARY: – it is a metastatic liver cancer that arises from cancer cells of other parts of the body that spread to liver.

CAUSES: – there are many causes that are responsible for it:-

1. Some chronic viral infections such as HEP.  B or HEP. C virus is also responsible for liver cancer.
2. Cirrhosis of liver is also a major cause.
3. Alcohol consumption.
4. Non- alcoholic fatty liver diseases.
5. Genetic factors.
6. Diabetes mellitus.

Common symptoms of cancer:-
