HYPOPHARYNGEAL CANCER

Hypo pharynx is lowest section of pharynx. When mucus membrane of hypo pharynx become cancerous and starts growing abnormally is called hypo pharyngeal cancer.

It is uncommon type of head, neck, and throat cancer.

CAUSES OF HYPOPHARYNGEAL CANCER:

    There is some risk factor which increase the chance of developing hypo pharyngeal cancer:-

1. Heavy drinking
2. Smoking
3. Exposure to dust, paints , fumes
4. Certain chemicals
5. Vitamin deficiency especially A,E increase risk 
6. Tobacco chewing

HYPOPHARYNGEAL SYMPTOMS:

1. Sore throat, pain in throat
2. Difficulty in swallowing, painful
3.  Ringing in Ear
4.  Fullness feeling inside both Ear
5.  Lump around your neck
6. Voice change it become hard and rough
7. Unexplained weight loss
8. Difficulty in breathing

1. Physical examination
2. Endoscopy
3. Biopsy
4. CT-scan
5. MRI

HYPOPHARYNGEAL CANCER PRECAUTION:

1. Quit smoking
2. Stop drinking alcohol
3. Quit tobacco consumption
4. Maintain healthy life style
5. Eat healthy
6. Add good amount of Vit.A and K in your diet
7. Avoid exposure to chemical
8. Maintain body weight 

HYPOPHARYNGEAL CANCER HOMOEOPATHY TREATMENT:

Belladona: 

1. Throat dry as if glazed
2. Tonsil enlarged
3. Throat feel constricted
4. Difficult deglutition 
5. Sensation of lump on throat
6. Spasm in throat, continuous inclination to swallow
7. Hypertrophy of mucous membrane of pharynx
8. Loss of appetite
9. Noise in ear – Humming
