It is very normal to feel anxious sometimes but uncontrollable worrying and fearing about the present situation or future is called an anxiety disorder. Excessive worrying and fearing about things can disturb day-to-day activities.

Women are more prone to suffer from anxiety disorder as compared to men.

Anxiety Disorder Causes:

Genetic factors: if mother or father is suffering from anxiety disorder you may have chances to develop anxiety.

If you are under stress for a prolonged period of time there may be chances to develop an anxiety disorder.

Consumption of alcohol or smoking or any drug use can cause this.

Chemical imbalance of the brain can cause anxiety. An increased level of progesterone can stimulate the amygdala which secretes adrenaline and it causes the fright and flight action. It can be a reason for too much stress.

Decreased levels of testosterone can cause social anxiety and fear.

The imbalance of thyroid hormones can cause depression and anxiety.

Environmental factors like family problems and relationship problems, etc.

Symptoms:

Constant worrying or uncontrollable worrying about small things or any situation.

Restlessness.

Increased palpitation (tachycardia).

Difficulty in breathing.

Difficulty in concentration.

Insomnia (unable to sleep at night).

Trembling body.

Perspiration of hands and feet.

Dryness of mouth.

Types:

Generalized anxiety disorder: in this, a person worries about unrealistic things that don’t even matter but he constantly worries about one thing to another thing. Work, relationship, family members, children, etc.

Panic disorder: in panic disorder, a person gets a sudden attack. Symptoms are intense like palpitation, sweating, difficulty in breathing, and sensation of choking.

Phobias: This person is having a fear of certain situations, places, or objects. For example fear of snakes, fear of heights, fear of disease, fear of water, etc.

OCD (obsessive-compulsive disorder): Obsessive-compulsive disorder is a long-lasting disorder in which a person has uncontrollable repetitive thoughts that leads to doing the same act again and again.
In this, a person is not able to control repetitive thoughts. For eg: frequent hand washing, to check the lock of the door again and again.

Separation anxiety disorders: in separation anxiety disorder person’s have fear of being separated from the people they are attached to.

Anxiety Management:

Avoid alcohol and smoking.
Stop consuming caffeine.
Do yoga and medicine for stress.
Sleep at least 8 hours at night.
Observe what kind of anxiety you have and learn to control the trigger point.
Eat a healthy nutritional diet.

Anxiety Disorder Homeopathy medicine:

Argentum nitricum: this person has fear of height and personal health. Fear and nervousness are marked in this remedy. The patient is impulsive and wants to do things in a hurry.

Arsenicum album: restlessness is marked in this remedy. Change places continuously, fear of death and being alone. Cold sweat with anxiety. Lack of courage and great confusion.

Gelsemium: this medicine is helpful in apprehension and stage phobia with trembling of hands and feet, headache and faintness.

Lycopodium: lack of confidence is marked in this remedy. Claustrophobia. Self-conscious and very anxious before appearing on stage.
